TrueOps Platform Documentation

Data & Security

Last Updated: July 2026

Security and data protection are fundamental principles of the TrueOps platform. We are committed to safeguarding customer information, maintaining platform reliability and continuously improving our security practices as the TrueOps ecosystem grows.

This page outlines the measures we take to protect customer data and the responsibilities shared between TrueOps and platform users.

Security Philosophy

TrueOps is designed with security, reliability and operational continuity in mind. Our goal is to provide businesses with a secure environment for managing operational data while maintaining performance, availability and ease of use.

Security is considered throughout the platform lifecycle, including development, deployment, monitoring and ongoing maintenance.

Infrastructure Security

TrueOps utilizes modern cloud infrastructure and trusted technology providers to support secure operations and scalability.

Depending on platform requirements, infrastructure may include services provided by:

  • Supabase
  • Vercel
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Other reputable cloud service providers

These providers maintain their own security controls, monitoring systems and operational safeguards.

Data Protection Measures

We implement a variety of technical and organizational measures designed to protect customer information.

  • Encrypted data transmission using HTTPS/TLS
  • Secure authentication systems
  • Role-based access controls where applicable
  • Database security protections
  • Infrastructure monitoring and logging
  • Security-focused software updates
  • Backup and recovery procedures

Authentication & Access Control

User Authentication

Access to the platform is protected through authentication mechanisms designed to ensure that only authorized users can access customer accounts and information.

Permission Management

Certain TrueOps products support role-based permissions, allowing organizations to control access to specific functions, records and operational information.

Data Backups & Recovery

We maintain backup procedures intended to reduce the risk of permanent data loss and support operational continuity.

Backup schedules, retention periods and recovery procedures may vary depending on the platform architecture and operational requirements.

Monitoring & Incident Response

Platform infrastructure is monitored to help identify performance, availability and security-related issues.

In the event of a security incident, we will investigate the issue, implement appropriate corrective actions and provide notifications where required by applicable law.

User Responsibilities

Security is a shared responsibility. Users are expected to:

  • Use strong passwords
  • Protect login credentials
  • Restrict access to authorized personnel
  • Maintain secure devices and networks
  • Report suspected unauthorized access promptly

Failure to maintain proper account security may increase the risk of unauthorized access to organizational data.

Third-Party Services

Certain platform functionality relies on trusted third-party service providers, including hosting, database, authentication and email delivery services.

While we carefully select reputable providers, we cannot guarantee the performance, availability or security practices of third-party services beyond our direct control.

Compliance & Privacy

Our security practices are designed to support responsible data handling and privacy protection.

We continuously review our processes with consideration for applicable privacy and data protection regulations, including:

  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA 2023)

Continuous Improvement

Cybersecurity threats evolve constantly. As the TrueOps platform expands, we will continue to review, improve and strengthen security controls, monitoring capabilities and operational procedures.
